Data/Culturefor standard culture models and textures,Data/Fontsfor fonts,Data/GeoTypicalfor geotypical textures such as ocean and roads. You generally won't need to add to or modify these folders.Don't forget that in order to use the continuous LOD rendering, elevation files must be square-power-of-2-plus-1 in size. For example:
513 x 513 1025 x 1025 2049 x 2049 4097 x 4097 8193 x 8193 If you have 3D models you want to import, they can be anywhere on your machine (if you use an absolute path) or anywhere on your Data path (for a relative address.)
Creating Your Own Terrain Settings
To make your terrain show up as a new terrain in the Enviro startup dialog, you can create your own .xml files in the Terrain folder on the data path. The easy way to do this is with the Terrain Manager dialog. Alternately, you can copy one of the existing .xml files (for example, Generic.xml) and edit it, either as a text file or with Enviro, to contain the settings you want. The first element in the file ("Name") is the name that will appear in Enviro.
